I'm trans.

TBH the way I see it, Gender dysphoria is a mental condition, and I definitely don't enjoy being trans. I don't take pride in it because in my personal experience it has only been hell. People think it's a choice to be trans but I doubt anyone would willingly choose to live with this or have higher suicide or rape/assaults rates.

I don't believe trans is a mental illness though... dysphoria, yes. Trans, no. Transgender is just identifying as a gender not the one assigned at birth, 'transitioning' from one to another. And dysphoria is the discomfort within ones body or within ones social perception. So, those people are dumb and honestly if they're not even gonna educate themselves before talking shit then they're not worth it lol.

Even if it was a mental illness, so what? The only 'cure' for being trans is not anti depressants or extensive therapy. The 'cure' for being trans is most of the time HORMONE THERAPY or SURGERY. So even if it was a mental illness, we ARE getting treated for it, by going on hormones.

Most people speak this rudeness because they've never truly known a trans person heart to heart. People not willing to be open minded are not worth it at all.
