Dude, honestly fuck all these haters. Any opener that gets her talking is good, honestly. This one, however, seems to rely too much on a predictable response. If the "yes" is on your mind when you ask any of these questions, then any other response is only gonna derail you. It's an obvious pickup line, and my overall opinion is that it's gonna open you more than her (ie, makes you vulnerable). Maybe it worked for you once, but don't expect it to work always.

My approach varies wildly depending on the situation, but typically a normal "Hey! Excuse me," [gets her attention]. "Hey, whats up?" [Extends hand, establish contact], "I'm somabeach, by the way. What up." [Use your real name. She'll probably give you hers on handshake. If not, laugh and be like "you got a name or what?"/Something like that so you don't have to make up a name for her. If you do, stick to it til you get her real name.] "Yeah cool. Another awesome night in [town], right? What're you up to anyway?"....and go from there. Real trick here is to keep the ball rolling and keep it light.

Note this is a nightgame approach--daygame would be very different, but kinda the same. There are books written on this stuff. If you're not a reader check out RSD on youtube--miles worth of excellent info available for free. My favorite guy is Max, or Todd Valentine but any of them are good. There's no fits all formula when it comes to game, its honestly more of a mindset. Just learn to approach, fuck the anxiety, and honestly maybe someday this can opener will work for you.
