‘They’re Beating Every White Person’: Riots, Fires After Fatal Shooting Sparks Chaos In Milwaukee

Really? So the big issue is the less than 1 percent of blacks that are killed by the police when they try attacking them (surely self defence?) and you're going to dismiss the 9 our of 10 that are killed by other blacks as irrelevant?

Or would it be more accurate to say that these criminals killed whilst threatening the police are also entirely irrelevant as well?

To be fair nothing taking place on the streets has any relevance "to the conversation about the ways the current structure of society works against black people." There is no meaningful direction/dialog that will come from these protests and riots. These people have no interest in this 'conversation' or progressing their cause.

Whilst you yourself may have a cause and may be pursuing a rational "conversation" about the issues, the people on the street, at these protests most certainly are not. They are on the street in sighting violence in the open for the whole world to see, with ridiculous causes such as criminals attacking the police getting killed.

If the #BLM movement had any sense it would distance itself, condemn these emotional, irrational riots, however it looks like these rioters may have taken the #BLM name with them.
