The Real Scoop on The Louisville Real Estate Market/ General Market

So much of this is just word salad

Landlords, have been going without rent for a long time.

??

The checks for government assistance are made out to the tenants, they are not 100% getting back to the intended use of the assistance (bureaucracy, shocked I spelled that right honestly). These tenants also can have complete disregard for the property and leave them pretty rough, with not much legal recourse. Those units are now going to have to be turned over

Except: “ The national CDC eviction moratorium ended on August 26, 2021”

So what exactly are you talking about?? That section 8 tenants are messy and they leave houses in poor shape? That the federal Covid rent relief programs (that ended quite a while ago) are not sending checks directly to landlords (it is, obviously they thought about this)? Why would landlords be going without rent when they’ve been free to evict nonpaying tenants for almost a full year?

And your solution to the housing market being unaffordable to the average person is for them to…buy a duplex?
