Like everywhere else there is a process for this. You don't just come in one day and are fired. Its not like private sector in that way at all.

You don't need to believe it...I've got SF50's and NPA's to prove it. I went from GS12 to NF5 Branch Chief then Division Chief. And if you read what I put out, I have been applying to GS15 jobs and getting referred because the NF5 payband covers GS14/15 equivalent depending on how much you get paid.
