I have a very active logical part of my brain and a tendency to be obsessive. It's literally painful to be me because I can't stop thinking so hard about everything. In my locale cannabis is legal and I try to stay high often because I'm told it makes me act more or less normal, and I certainly feel that way. I've been told that I function at higher level than most people sober when high, so I only go out of my way to be sober if I'm trying to solve a particularly difficult science related problem.

I had cannabis recommended to my by a neurologist after years of refusing to try it and trying other things because I've never been a fan of any medication. But this one just seems to be a net positive so it's helped me out quite a bit in having a more normal life.

Not sure if this fits, but I definitly smoke a lot of weed.
