I’m called the cursed child in my family because I was born with a medical condition (will not disclose) that my mother had contracted from cheating on my father. They constantly berate me, and cause the household to be violent. I never had a stable household in high school and it noticeably impacted my grades. I had to settle for a pretty average college with a full ride program that ended up wanting me very badly but couldn’t because of my grades. I will have to take loans to go to college dorming because of my home. If I could turn back time and wish I could do better in school, I would. All of my friends are in that program and because it’s a learning-live community, I can never dorm with them.

Life is painful.
