Redditors who quit their jobs in a blaze of glory, what's your story?

I worked for a company that sold Apple Products for a couple months, awhile ago.

There was almost no training, basically, this is how the cash register works and have fun! I didn't even know the return policy 100% correctly until the day before my last day.

The company was pretty good in the beginning, and offered ok employee benefits. I even met the CEO of my company who apperantly liked my work ethic.

My work place was really relaxed, we could be on our phones if no one was there and there were times that my boss and me would just browse Amazon because we had nothing too do.

A couple months in I'm offered a promotion with a pay raise, my manager says that I should expect a certain amount. When the stuff actually comes through, they didn't give me as much as my manager said they would.

As soon as I asked about this, my manager and head office got extremely upset with me, and basically told me that I now only have a couple of hours to decide if I want it or i'm not getting the promotion at all.

I signed the contract, because I'm a student a little raise is better than nothing.

Then hell started.

The CEO started actually monitoring my activity, and things like browsing Amazon, like I mentioned above, I was now getting written up for, which was bullshit because all the other employees were doing the same thing and not getting written up.

The CEO apperantly actually wanted to fire me for being on Amazon, without writing me up. But my local management apperantly "saved the day".

Then a couple of months later, they want to write me up again for "improper company procedure",which was bullshit again, basically some lady left a bad review about the return policy we had, and they need to blame someone I guess.

I didn't even give them a chance, I gave a couple days notice and left. My manager was pissed, but I honestly didn't care.

TL;DR: Called out the company for not doing what they said they would, they tried to get me fired for the remainder of my employment.
