I have been to a few games:

I went to the Olympiakos Champions league game when we won 3-1. I was in the Clock End Lower right next to the away fans, I thought this is where we would get some likeminded supporters to go up against them in chants. I was so wrong.

I went with 4 other lads and not even they joined in with me. I was the only one singing the chants, I went through each one 4-5 times and I swung my scarf about for like the whole game.

They actually moved two of the stewards to where I was - because none of the clock end apart from me was singing. Was crazy.

I also went to the Emirates Cup one year and was told to shut up by an Arsenal fan.

I turned around and said "are you not here to support arsenal you p*ick" - carried on and didn't hear another word from him or anyone else.

The reason for this is because of the price of tickets and the fact that the majority seem to be tourists. The best atmosphere is when the tickets go onto General Sale that's when you get the real fans willing to sing.
