Regarding the upcoming collab with Haifuri..

DD-161 Akizuki manages to combine the automatic loading 3"/50s, the offensive torpedo armament with reload, and the 5"/54 main guns all in one ship at the same time, and stays at 32 knots without going to the I'm sure familiar 30 knots of other JMSDF ships in that era. The only issue she was built a bit too late. I think visually, players would have a familiarity with the shape and configuration. As they only built two, it's a fairly unique thing and intended for a slightly different role, worthy of a premium, and the IJN tree badly needs a premium mid-high tier destroyer. Intrestingly it's related to the Fletcher, somewhat (though it doesn't look it), so just like the suggestion of USS Wichita as a USN Tier 8 premium, it's the perfect bridge between two tiers. I'm not entirely sure giving players direct control over 3"/50 Mark 33 is a good idea, so I always eschew suggesting ships with that as main guns...

Of course, the reason to want Harekaze is that it has a 21st century sensor suite, highly automated systems shipwide, and a seemingly WW2 era - 60,000 shp propulsion installation. For this, I assume Harekaze would handle better and accelerate better, which, of course it would not in the game - it would simply be a slopply repainted Kagero with no real difference. Oh and they moved the wheel to the bridge from the wheelhouse (which is below), which is fine if you're crew are Japanese schoolgirls, less so if you're Westerns seven decades later... There would not be a face without an elbow on it on the Harekaze.

We need to ask for Yukikaze first, as they'd have to do a seperate model for her, then we can have a pretty Kagero. Oh and one final thing, Harekaze steals the spotlight from the Amatsukaze. Bah, fictional stuff.
