Remnants of a post about the actual presense or lack there-of for DS1 characters in DS2...

When you stop using punctuation I can tell that you're angry. Word of advice; go have fun playing these games. Or go debate something worth debating over. You've presented your theories. I've presented mine. Difference is, yours are convoluted as shit, and show that you don't understand anything about the lore. You start telling me not to apply real-world logic, yet that's exactly what you're doing with this Gods debate. You insist that there can be multiple First Flames, when that's clearly wrong; it's called the First for a reason. I've already explained that Brightstone Cove could be the Crystal Caves, so the experiments referred to would mean the ones conducted by Seath. All you've said to disprove this is that it isn't a cave, to which I reply: neither was the Crystal Cave. Both are open pits in the ground.

Why would Freja create scorpion people? Seath had reasons; he wanted to mess around with living beings. Freja is just the keeper of the Writhing Ruin-Seath's soul. What reason would she have to create Tark and Najka? If they were part spider it would make sense, but they aren't.

Why would lighting the First Flame turn someone into a bug? The Witch of Izalith became a bug because she tried to create a flame similar to the First Flame (which would not be another First Flame). The Sinner did the same as Gwyn, or at least tried. Gwyn didn't become a bug.

I don't see how the creature bursting from the earth means the OIK didn't create it. Your theory is that it lived under the lava, so why does it say it came from the earth? It's pretty simple; the OIK buried it underground, as he did with the blue one, and it burst out. Nothing suggests he didn't create it. And I'm pretty sure nobody thinks the OIK is Gwyn, but it is irrefutable that he has his soul. It is also irrefutable that he met an immensely powerful being, whose name cannot be mentioned, in the lava. It makes more sense for it to be Gwyn, because if it was some random monster it wouldn't have a name that couldn't be mentioned, and the devs wouldn't put so much mystery around it. If it was just some monster, they would say so. Instead, they said it was something whose name cannot be mentioned. The Lord Souls all say "soul of the ineffable", meaning "unmentionable". It fits, and that's a lot more than can be said about your theory.
