Report: Group bypasses unmanned TSA security gate at airport; presumed aboard flights

Here's what really gets my goat about this security theater:

To be a TSA "agent", you need to be a citizen and have a high school diploma or GED.

I have a TS/SCI clearance and work for the DoD in a national security position.

These fuckwits have all the power on whether or not I can get on a pane.

They can't even look at my work computer.

Everybody in national security knows the TSA is a colossal waste of time and money. A bomb dog, a metal detector, and an xray machine for carry ons at every gate is all you need. No removal of shoes. No "random" searches. None of those backscatter bullshit machines that can't catch a fucking thing.

Not to mention that they randomly give people TSA precheck on their tickets for no reason and I have seen them allow people to just use that line because they were backing up too much. If you can fucking do that once in a while, you can do that every day.

There are no reports of them stopping anything. In fact, they have made terminals less secure because these giant lines of people all packed together in the security lines are a giant soft target that have no security. Just put on a bomb vest, wait until you are in the middle of that herd and detonate.

Then what's the solution? Would the TSA just move to the front doors?

BAH! I'm rambling. As a security professional, I just really, really loathe the TSA.
