I learned about it in the 9th grade. Or they skimmed over it I should say. I remember how they taught it made it seem like they were bullying us for random money.

Then again in the 11th grade when I took my second American history class that was more of an elective that covered a requirement than the other civics/ history/government classes available. Much more in depth class that you had to take both semesters of the same year. We covered the revolution a lot more thoroughly and they really broke it down for us.

It’s just dependent on the school and teacher. I’m sure you learned plenty of shit that I haven’t even heard of today. I don’t think it’s a country wide anti 7 year war thing though.
