I mean, it’s discipline. Everybody wants to eat donuts and pizza all day long, disciplining yourself not to is the goal. Continuing to never learn or reinforce your discipline by resorting to drugs to solve your weight loss isn’t exactly a great method. Discipline is important for a lot of things and naturally eating healthier and learning discipline helps to remedy a lot of mental problems such as depression, ADHD, and OCD.

Source: got all those things but my desire to maintain a healthy body is stronger than my desire to eat the foods I love. Nobody is saying that it’s ‘easy’ just that it’s doable without dropping thousands on a quick way out drug.

And anyone telling you to hit the gym more when you’re overweight is a moron. You lose weight in the kitchen and build muscle in the gym. More muscle = more calories to maintain the muscle mass so inadvertently you can make healthy eating more effective when building muscle at the gym. Also, I hate when people who are overweight take any form of protein supplements, unused protein is stored as fat.

Experiment with your next grocery list and find foods that are healthy and low in calories that you really love and get them. Reward yourself when you don’t eat out in a form that ISNT food and get help. Accountability partners are invaluable.
