• Your projected '18-'19 military budget is ~892 billion.
• Your Overseas Contingency Operations (basically everything thats happening outside US) is little under 100 billion total. And that includes all the shooting and fighting. The base cost of your personnel and bases around the world are around 20-30 billion / year.

Meanwhile you have interesting things like;

• Increase production of the F-35 and F/A-18 aircraft. The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program cost $400 billion for 2,457 planes, mostly for development and testing.
• Buy three littoral combat ships, six icebreakers, an aircraft carrier, and a missile submarine.

I mean go for it, cut it. We will be just fine but your spending is still full of stupid leaks and you wont save shit in the long run by cutting OCO Thats small drop in the ocean in your budget. When your maintenance costs take 1/3rd from your budget maybe its time to stop making new shit for a while. You still have your separate R&D to keep up with the tech.
