The people you interact with in game don't know you either. If you're being a jerk to them you can't say "Oh I'm not toxic you don't know me I'm just being an asshole because of X." All I'm saying is that you keep saying things like Oh Riot can just implement this and it'll fix all the problems overnight, but fail to understand that Riot 100% knows about those ideas and those ideas have been talked about back and forth dozens of times on this subreddit already. Some community ideas are good (and many have been implemented over the last 5+ years) and some are horrible. Some ideas are good in theory but don't work because of the size/make-up of the community, some ideas are good but require a lot of coding which turns out to be difficult with the spaghetti style code with this game. You act like Riot is sitting there trying to piss everyone off and refusing to make things better, but you don't accept that fact that MAYBE you don't know as much as they do about this game and how to make it better.
What a dick man. Am I toxic now? Nope. I tell people when they are wrong and I don't take shit from the community anymore. I guess I should be the guy that when someone says "you fucking suck" I reply with "just keep at it! We got this guys". But i'm not. I don't curse at them, I'm not racist, I don't do personal attacks, but I do tell them when they play poorly and what they should do different.
Yes actually you are according to everything Riot has said about how they want players to act. If someone says you fucking suck you should either say what you said and be positive and try to focus your team, or you say NOTHING AT ALL. Doesn't matter if you curse, doesn't matter if you're racist. Those people get banned or restricted too sure, but you can get restricted without it too. You tell them when they play poorly and what they should do different. Depending on what you say and how you say it that could be 100% toxic. Telling someone you just failed so hard there dude is toxic. Saying It's alright that you died, we got this just try to ward tribush and play a bit safer til we can group up is not toxic. Saying STOP DYING is toxic.
My entire argument at this point was that I know Riot punishes me at this moment in time for that. I disagree with it. It's poor policy. So instead of you telling me how toxic I am, maybe stick to an argument and a discussion or fuck off.
Riot is VERY clear what they think about toxicity and how they expect people to act. If you disagree with it, again, that's your prerogative but it's their game and they decide how they want to community to be. You think it's poor policy, I think it's fine. If you're not toxic you don't get restricted. There are thousands of people who have never even been so much as warned. It's not like a couple random reports from salty people get you restricted. You have to earn it.
If you legitimately criticize your teammates then yes absolutely you should be punished. Riot is clear about that. If you disagree DON'T PLAY THE GAME. It's like playing chess and you just decide hey I don't like the fact that bishops can only move diagonally, I'm going to play my bishop like a queen because I think it's better. Well it's not your game, you didn't make the rules. If you want to play you have to play by the rules.
You are CLEARLY toxic. You don't think what you do is toxic by YOUR standards, but by Riot standards and by the standards that everyone in the community agrees to when signing up for this game you ARE toxic. You get chat restricted for it as you deserve. So you either a) suck it up and continue getting restricted, b) reform and play out your restrictions and become a better person, or c) don't play. No one cares which you pick, but stop acting like your punishments aren't justified. You are just a player who is pissed off that they can't get away with being a jerk on the internet. You can respond or not, it doesn't really matter. Your only arguments have been 1) I don't think I should've been restricted and 2) I think Riot is a crappy company who doesn't care enough to make quality of life changes to the game. #1 is easy to explain since you ARE toxic and DO deserve the restrictions based on Riot's own rules. #2 is explained if you read any of the dozens of threads about the changes you think are so easy for Riot to do. You are just blindly trying to attack Riot because you hate that you were punished for being a jerk. Continue avoiding the fact that you're not a good person in game, not a good person on reddit, and maybe not a good person in real life all you want. But until you stop blaming other people for your own mistakes and your own failures then you're never going to improve. Riot is pretty clear that they don't want a person like you in the community, and I doubt they or anyone else in the community will be sad to see you, or anyone else who acts like you, leave and never come back.
