He and the other three admitted to “attending the peaceful protest during the day” before starting the fires later. Their defence lawyer said “hundreds of other people” were involved in the riots and starting fires but only four were charged. Two of the four admitted to throwing Molotov cocktails at the police station. Three “boogaloo boys” were also charged with being involved in the riot, these are separate from the four charged with burning the police station. Two “boogaloo boys” pleaded guilty for assisting a terror plot by infiltrating the riot (not for setting fires) and a third has an ongoing case for shooting at the police station during the riot. There is no indication from the article that Wolfe or the other three arsonists were involved in any group other than the George Floyd protesters and didn’t have ties to the “boogaloo boys” who were all charged with other things.
