Russia to shoot down any planes flying over Syria

We framed Saddam for chemical weapons.

You seem to have information I've never seen before - Here, the Russian ambassador to Syria blames the gassing of civilians on a Syrian airstrike that accidently hit a bioweapon factory operated by the Asad regime, but you're saying the US framed Asad for that?

We put together the Libya coalition against the advice of our own DOD...

Again, you seem to have information I've never seen. This article tells the real story of the existing power structure with Libya's eastren territories rejecting the UN backed government installed in the west. A stalemate / tribal issue that exists to this day. I've never read anything about the DOD rejecting a coalition government but if you have a source I would read it. Usually the DoD leaves foreign affairs to the state Dept anyway.

Im not sure how to respond to your Crimea rant - clearly it's Russian - the point is russian aggression would be immediately stopped at the land border to eastern Ukraine if Moscow were ever stupid enough to try anything above what's already going on. The international community would rally around European sovereignty and NATO would invoke article 5. Russia would have so many barrels pointed in it's direction it would stand no chance - and it knows that hence the passive aggressive low intensity insurgency. Europe and the US saw what happened in Crimea, they won't let it happen on the mainland.
