Is it safe to take a 3 month old with only one vaccine to parks/trails with limited time on the ground?

I would be fine carrying, but not putting him on the ground. Did the vet give any input? Can he fit in a carrier/can you buy a dog stroller?

Even just exposing to the new sights and smells is great, he doesn’t necessarily need to touch the ground or meet other dogs/humans

Have you looked at puppy classes? We got the OK from our vet to start puppy classes at 10 weeks old with 1 shot. It’s less risky - but not completely risk free - since the other puppy parents submit vaccination records and the facility is cleaned thoroughly. Socialization and building confidence is extremely important. You’re not crazy to be worried, just know you have to weigh risk vs reward for every decision.
