They funded sunni fundamentalist groups in both countries that had a large hand in the conflict and resulting casualties. You can ignore Saudi action in Bahrain or Yemen all you want but those are not pretty either. This is not to mention Saudi intelligence's role in Al Qaeda and terrorist attacks like 9/11.

UAE and Saudi Arabia in their geopolitical tussle with Iran are grossly destabilizing elements with a lot of blood on their hands.

They also welcomed invasion of Iraq both times because Sadaam was a rival and then funded Sunni terrorism in Iraq because they were worried about a Shiite majority country. It is the same reason for their involvement in Syria. They don't want a Shiite arc from Iran to Lebanon...

Saudi Arabia is not innocent in any of this. America has blood on its hands too... and hopefully one day we will hold our government accountable or at least bring about reform.
