If they said something like “let’s set up a date for next summer or the one after or whatever” it wouldn’t have been so bad. They had a lot in common and I don’t think the ages were that far off (maybe I’m wrong?)

So close enough in age they should wait and experience more life (including dating other people). But revisit the connection when their both on a more level life experience field.

The Cinderella thing of waiting for the stroke of midnight for things to be legal is creepy and gross. If it’s meant to be - it’ll stand the test of time and growth.
