Haha yes they do, even sometimes concurrently.

My friend did cheerleading, tennis, and marching band in fall. Football games were funny because she’d do her cheerleading halftime routine, have no time for a break, then join the marching band still in her cheer outfit to play the trumpet. She missed a few tennis meets but she was one of the best players so they kept her. In spring she did softball and cheerleading.

She was nuts. She was also in all the difficult classes, got tops marks, and was high as kite the majority of the time. I have fond memories of us in the neighborhood woods drinking slurpees and then going to the library to study calculus, all the while giggling up a storm.
