Degrassi S14E22 "The Kids Aren't Alright" Part 2 Discussion

hold on... the season finale is actually the next episode? What? Already?

Did anything even happen? :(

WHERE are the seniors? Hasn't the show always done a good send-off for the graduating class? Why not this time around? Clare has been the focus of, what, 2 episodes? And the rest of that class has been invisible.

  • Gang storyline: Okay, fair enough... though I wish it didn't take up so much time from everything else

  • Musical storyline: Felt quite boring/pointless to me... many points really didn't make any sense and I was left confused.

  • Becky storyline: Did they just completely throw out her character? What happened to all of her character traits/development/flaws/etc.? Also I really don't care about that Jonah character... he showed up in order to incite more Drew/Becky drama... and what? What was the point? Also why is it taking up so much airtime? Any time that storyline comes on I just tune out.

  • Imogen/Jack storyline: So... we saw Imogen acting completely unfair/irrational/ridiculous for 2 or 3 episodes and then they broke up with no lessons being learned... now Imogen is directing the musical as if nothing even happened and Jack is nowhere to be seen?

  • Tristan storyline: His one episode was good. But then any other time he showed up during the season was as the stereotypical "sassy gay best friend" to Zoe and serve one-liners... Isn't this show supposed to be progressive?

Did anything else happen? Oh yea... Zoe put some cellphones in bread or something?

  • Clare storyline: Really the only reason I'm still watching the show... yet it's only been the focus of a small number of episodes.

Maybe I'm just sour because all the characters I never really liked have been the focus of the entire season... Maya, Zig, Imogen, Becky, Frankie... zzzzzzz

Anyone agree? Disagree?
