Hey Reddit, are there any old champs you would like Riot to bring back in some way?

Ok so here's my vision of ultra-fun Lucian:

  • change Q's base damage to 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 /240 - currently 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 / 200

  • change Q's bonus ad scaling to something like 60% at all ranks - currently 60% / 75% / 90% / 105% / 120%

  • change E's cooldown to 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 - currently 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14

  • leave everything else as is

So, if these numbers play out how I expect you would still max Q first to get through lane and then max E second for a mid game power spike.

Assuming this, my version of Lucian would play lane phase just like he does now on live. In my opinion, Lucian has a pretty reasonable lane phase right now, and I don't aim to change that.

Where things would hopefully change would be in how he plays mid and late game, especially during team fights and skirmishes.

Currently on live, Lucian plays pretty safely and opportunistically - mainly he sits on the edge of fights, occasionally dashing into position to delete some one with a full spell rotation and dashing back out to safety.

I intend to shift much of his damage from his Q to the extra passive procs he will get from the the low E cooldown. Unless I'm an idiot, Trinity Force and Lucidity Boots would be essential on this version of Lucian. Once he gets to level 13, he should have his core items and his passive and E should be at MAX POWAH. In fights, he would play kinda like Vayne - dancing around the edge of fights, dealing empowered auto attack damage after every dash.

What I think is really cool about this is that the low buff duration on his passive requires strict positioning with his dash in team fights in order to reach his full potential. Dashing too far out of auto attack range and losing a set of passive strikes could interrupt his chain of dashes and severely limit his damage out put.

Plus dashing around like a maniac is just tooooooo fun lol.
