'This is scientific censorship of the worst kind': The Trump administration reportedly froze the acquisition of fetal tissue for research, including an HIV cure experiment

"No it hasn't." I assume you're referring to the only statement made: 'Fetal tissue use has been controversial for decades.' It's a sime simple statement you disputed.

I remember this topic in the early 90s because I drew a Political cartoon of the issue for my Political Science class in 1990 showing a little girl asking her mom where babies go when they die, which then showed 2 guys dumpster diving at an abortion clinic next to their biomedical van. Did some Googling on phone trying to find some sources from back then. Ran across a 1992 research paper on the fetal tissue controversy. However, it's locked away for students. Did find this mention.

A decade = 10 years. Decades is plural, meaning more than 1. The earliest I remember the subject is 28 years ago. 28/10 = 2.8 decades. OP was correct. You are wrong. OP is right. The topic has been controversial for decades.
