So you automatically dismiss someone just because they disagree with the reported finding of the study. Yet I'm the person who is picking and choosing what I want to believe?

Did you even read what I posted? This is a direct quote from the Mercatus study:

For example, in 2014, hospitals were reimbursed just 89 percent of their costs of treating Medicare patients

This alone should lead you to believe that covering everyone with Medicare should result in an ~11% decrease in provider payments, not 40%.
