one of my closest friends started dating this dude her sophomore year in college and he's awful. He made her dye her hair back to black because he didn't like her blonde hair. He won't let her get tattoos, even one's that are culturally significant to her (the fact that she thinks she needs permission is ridiculous). She wanted to get a vibrator at one point and he almost broke up with her??? He's a bit older than her, and has already finished college and began working.

The major thing that pissed me off was that he had a past addiction to opium... so he has some to slowly come off it? I'm not too sure how that works, but basically he let her try some. Who does that? Knowing that she can easily become addicted? That for me was the last straw and this happened before any of those other events, but I can't not be there for her. I hope that once she sees how awful and manipulative he is, that she can still feel like she has someone to go to. They've been together for over a year and half now though, so I'm not too sure how things will go
