I was with friends and we ended up meeting these other people and me and this girl from the other group were talking together whilst everyone else is chatting and after fifteen minutes she was like "Wait what's your name?" and after we exchanged names she opened up her arms and said "Give me a hug"

We somehow walked around town by ourselves, went into a few stores and met up with her best guy friend (he went to the toilet and she said "He's one of my best friends", probably to clarify there was nothing between them). She even said "Can we not go there because my ex hangs around there", would playfully hit me and so on.

Eventually everyone met up again and we were still talking and she asked me "I have a free house tonight and have a couple of friends coming over to drink, wanna come over?" and I declined because she lived at the other side of town and I knew my dad wouldn't have allowed me (we were fifteen and sixteen at the time).

It wasn't until a week or so that my friend asked me "Are you still talking to her?" and I went "No, why?" and she kinda rolled her eyes and looked to our other friend that I caught on
