[Serious] Reddit: What is your age and what problem are you currently facing in your life?

My husband has always had it and I know it’s hard for him. As someone though who is on the outside looking in and who loves someone who battles with it, I just want you to know something very important:

When I look at him... I don’t even see it anymore. The only times I notice the patches is when they are irritated and I’m worried that he has discomfort or is in pain.... but never am I “grossed out” or “turned off” by seeing his condition.

He’s tried many things over the years but all I can tell you is that a good diet has helped more than anything else. I do hope that one day he will be free of it... so he doesn’t feel self conscious anymore and he doesn’t have to deal with the cycle of pain it brings.

But I thought it was crucial that you know that to someone who is going to fall in love with you, besides being concerned for your wellbeing, it won’t even matter.
