[Serious] Redditors who have cut family members off from their lives, what was the final straw for you?

The women in my family are very toxic...

Middle half-sister (30 years old): My sister has told me she would be happy when she can finally see my blood on the ground. When I had to move back in with my parents after my divorce, she was extremely passive aggressive. she would leave messages on the mirror like "Die" or notes on the table. I would get shoulder checked in the hallway, or she would go through my room (A room I had to share with my kids for a couple years). Her husband has keyed my car, smeared dog crap under my car vents, threatened to hurt me. My dad installed cameras around the house. Been told, if it wasnt for you, I would be the oldest.

Youngest half-sister (22 years old): Would spread rumors that a guy I was dating touched her inappropriately, but then apologized to me for causing hostility. She then accused me at my cousin's wedding for trying to hook up her female friend with a guy friend I brought as a plus one; claiming I was promoting rape. She has spread numerous rumors about me to one of the guys she's dated.... in the end, that guy started to come to me for advice because he couldn't take it and wasn't sure if he should call it off. I would direct him to my dad.

Mom: tried to kills me a few times, suffocating me with a pillow, forcing my head down in a toilet bowl, and beat me since I could remember all through high school. When I just wanted to spend time with my adoptive dad (because he is very calm and kind) my mom started accusing me of having a relationship with him. I would get slapped if my mom ever saw me get teary-eyed. It felt like there was always a competition or that I was always failing at something.

Cousin (32 years old): the instigator of a lot of rumors about me to the family. One time she claimed that I had allowed my kids around a pedophile. Purposely wait until everyone was around and make a show of greeting everyone except for. This included family pictures at gatherings. Claims I'm narcisstic just because I'm full-blooded in my nationality.

The guys in my family: One time my half-brother and cousin took me out for dinner to discuss the past events over the years (they live out if state) because they were sick and tired of it. "The girls in the family (referring to my sisters and cousin) are all crazy... if we believed any of these could be true, we wouldn't have taken the time to bring you out to talk to you."

My half-brother: "She is the root of all the problems." (Referring to the 30 yr old sister)
