[Serious] What makes you believe that God is real?

Alright, here's my story:

I was raised in a Catholic household, going to church every Sunday since I was a child. This is just background information to the story.

At age 7 a priest (who was close to me) was dying. After seeing him give his dying breath I prayed to give me one more minute with him before he left. Not a second after that he came back, tick, tick, tick the clock went. A full minute. As he was dying he said it looked beautiful. That's was where I decided to be more involved with God.

One day when I was 11, my parents were fighting. I prayed for them to stop and make up. Immediately after I prayed they stopped. They made up and are now stronger than ever.

This is where shit starts happening. I had to go through confirmation, a sacrament in which you go through a class explaining the faith. We had a retreat where we went up to a church and stay there to get closer to God. On the last day they told us to let him take control over you. The Holy Spirit does shit to you. After 15 minutes of praying for him to take over I got nothing. I started praying more intensely, then it happened. I started to cry tears of happiness and joy. Someone spoke in strange words. Someone started laughing hysterically. Shit was going down. So I'm still crying and I hear a voice. "You're hands and mind are your greatest weapons, but you have a greater purpose. Your illness will give you strength, yet it will be your downfall" the voice said. This repeats every time I step in that church. Next year it's the same thing but at a mountain. That time it was a lot stronger.

tl;dr: God helped me through rough times, and told me of my death and future.
