[Serious] What is the most eye-opening experience you've had with someone from a different country, culture, or religion?

At the airport I was waiting for my check-in counter to open. I was sitting on waiting chair on the left corner, a Chinese couple was on the middle and a White guy on the right. The Chinese couple soon left. Few moments later I found a bluetooth headphone under the chair where the Chinese couple was sitted. The headphone was like Jaybird X3, BeatsX design wise bit from a cheap brand. Since, Chinese couple were not around I asked the White guy “Is it yours?”. He replied with a quick “Nope”. Then I just left it on the chair hoping the owner would see it if they returned. Then, few minutes later two Indian men came. One of them saw the headphone and asked me “Is it yours?”. I replied with a “Nope” as well. He then quickly replied “It is my now!” with a smirk. It was obvious that it was not his, yet he felt so happy to pick it up despite it being some cheap headphone was something different I experienced then.
