A few of us were at my friends house, and her brother told us to come to the basement. He had a target range in their sketchy dirt cellar. He gave me and another girl hand guns and told us to shoot.

Later that night he drove us around while we got drunk. He got me alone at one point, and raped me. I tried to get out from under him but he was too big and strong. I didn’t know if he had a gun. But he wasn’t going to stop, and there was no point dying over it.

Luckily his sister and another friend had come looking for us, and opened the door before he finished. But what was I going to do, say her brother was raping me? To this day only a handful people know it wasn’t consensual.
