(Serious) What were you doing September 11, 2001?

Going about my day, riding my bike, watching movies, and enjoying the school holidays. It was a great day.

September 12 was rather shit though, as that was when many Australians learnt of 9/11 (timezones etc). I first found out about it via a newspaper, which was perhaps strange for a 12 year old, or frankly anyone.

I used to read the newspaper from back to front too, because I was quite interested in sport as a kid. So I started getting dribs and drabs of it as I finished reading with my morning breakfast, and it was confusing. I legit didn't know what the images were at first, and thought it was some movie or something.

But then I realised it wasn't good, and turned on the TV, to see all the channels running the images over and over. My younger sibling was annoyed we were unable to watch kids TV shows during our school holidays because of the coverage.
