Servers should be complaining to their employers about low wages instead of attacking non-tippers.

lol youve obviously never worked in a restaurant. its a lot more than just “bringing food and making drinks”

shit, as a busser, i was bussing 60 tables, carrying 20-40lbs of plates and cups back to the kitchen, having to separate dishes for dishwashers, water tables, clean and reset them, bring to go boxes to tables, i NEVER got a break, i was constantly running around like a chicken with its head cut off, i couldn’t pee in peace because i’d have to be back on the floor in less than a minute. at the end of the night i would have to put all the chairs up, and sweep and mop some nights id be a solo busser and buss over 140 people. an average night is about 90 people and i’d make $55. also, my restaurant wasn’t air conditioned. i was pretty much doing more than the servers did, i came home every single night drenched in sweat, and barely be able to walk and pass out the moment i hit my bed.

it would make my day when a table would see how hard i was working and hand me a few bucks, some even said, “youre paying more attention to us than our server”

you aren’t only tipping the server, youre tipping everyone who took care of you as they have to pool tips at the end of the night.
