As an asian who often browse both American Social media and Chinese sites,

I predict that Most Shang Chi will make is $50 million in China( best case scenario)

American public reception to teaser seem very positive.

But reception in China, Taiwan and hongkong are all very negative.

I dont think Shang Chi will have big cultural impact as Black Panther fot the following reason

1) Name " Black Panther" alone sounds super dope unlike Shang chi 2) Black Panther has super cool Mask and Costume 3) most people are used to seeing many Black people in Hollywood and its feel more natural but asian American in MCU is still extremely rare and all of a sudden one movie with all asian face feels bit bizarre
