Shocking new video shows unarmed Utah man was listening to headphones when killed by police [NSFW]

He said "STOP FOOL"

As in I'm an unnamed citizen walking out of a public place, and now have a weapon pointed at me.

Down vote me all you want but an unarmed citizen who didn't commit a crime, was murdered for walking backwards and moving his hands rapidly in an inappropriate manner. First aid wasn't applied, because the officer was searching for a weapon or narcotics or possibly stolen goods. The police were called because the store owner said they must be up to no good based on their appearance.

The shooting was justified not because the slain man was a threat, but because the officer perceived him as a threat.

Protecting and serving isn't what happened here, there was no threat. Since 9/11 more Americans have been killed by police than soliders in combat in the Middle East.

So just try to be a good citizen, and don't dress like a criminal, don't assume you have any time to not comply or freeze up, hesitate, get scared, or reach for anything. Also it's best to not carry cash on you, not walk the streets of affluent neighborhoods, especially if you're visiting from another country and don't speak English, you might get body slammed. Don't not have a gun if you're going to commit a crime because of you get shot, there's always the chance one is planted on you.

If you commit crime and have your life taken away from you then I have no pity for you. Those are the worst scenarios because of the force needed to eliminate the threat for the greater good. Even those scenarios have bad outcomes for the officers involved because of the emotional distress it might cause. But maybe it's time to reevaluate the citizens relationship and necessity for law enforcement.
