The messaging from the primary players right now (especially Oculus) has been clear, consistent, transparent, conservative and oriented towards ensuring a high quality experience for as many people as possible (especially those more susceptible to motion sickness issues). Here is a well known SCIENCE guy, 2 veritas, on youtube, talking about economic models. That youtube made 5 billion last year, but most of that money went to content creators, developers. While facebook made 7 billion last year, most of that going into zuckerbergs pocket. Do you develop? Are you a content creator? Which economic model will you choose for yourself, the one that puts money in your pocket for you work and time, or the one that puts money in zucks pocket for your work and time.
