Signs to know if you’re a Rhode Island driver

Paragraph 3 - I’ve seen asshole Rhode Island drivers even reverse on the shoulder of major highways to not miss an exit.

honestly, why do you all drive the way you do?

1) Lack of proper drivers education. Where I grew up, cities had multiple privatized drivers education businesses. This state has only has a few, and I rarely, if ever, see them teaching people on the road, in real situations.

2) No accountability from law enforcement. Sure, RISP is out there, but local municipalities let these drivers get away with everything.

3) No accountability from other drivers. Rarely anybody honks - probably too concerned with not being thought of as “kind.”

4) This is the only state I’ve seen that has police detail at liquor stores for every minor holiday. They love, and seemingly desire, to drink and drive.
