Since we don't hear much about it, Ladies of Reddit, what was your worst "meet the mom" story?

I was 17 and had gotten pregnant with my boyfriend who was 23. I found out pretty early so I got a medical abortion, which is when you take a series of pills. I took them at my boyfriends house because I pretty much lived there, his mom is rarely there because she sleeps in her car during the week to avoid having to drive the hour to and from work.

So I had the abortion and was at the point where I'm just taking the pills that help me avoid infection. On the weekend when she was home, my ex and I went out and she went in the room, looked through my things, found the pills and stole them. When we got home she was screaming "you're not gonna kill my grand-baby!" She called me a slut and a bunch of other names, then she says "I had an abortion because I was raped! How dare you" and she kicked me out.

So his mom and him are screaming at each other and I'm just silent pretty much getting my stuff together. I tell her "listen, it's already done, the pills that you stole are just keeping me healthy" (probably not that eloquently) and try to get them back. She gives me them, I head out and stay at a friends house for the night.

Then she calls my boyfriend and says she's talked to his older brother and we need to talk about this like a family - as in him, his brother, her, and I need to sit down and work this out. I wasn't gonna go but... I was kind of living there at this point and didn't have another place to go for an extended period of time so I did go. Idky his brother had to be there, and he didn't really understand either. Both of the guys were MORTIFIED but we all sat down in her hoarder level cramped living room and she apologizes to me. She has this whole speech that was still relatively offensive and the brother interjects several times to like keep her in line. At the end of it she just goes "and I lied about being raped. I had an abortion during my first marriage because I didn't want to be with him, I was never raped." And I'm just like
