That's fucking insane, the amount of sexual assaults, human trafficking, murders that happen to young women is fucking sky high. Tell her to go to Thai land, there are groups you can safely travel with and it is a hell of a lot safer solo.

Going to India as a 25 yo old lass for the first time ever backpacking without any group or experience is beyond insanity and her stating this is where she wants to go without any kind of research or any type of prep just tells me she isn't mature or experienced enough.

Fucking hell, I'm ex army, former boxer, 6ft1 and got the face of a mashed potato traveled the world and I still got in trouble going to india.
