While praying alone in an empty church, I heard wings flutter. Probably just the pigeons up above that fly about through open windows. I opened my teary eyes a bit, looked behind and saw a random man standing. White haired old man, who was looked at me and then at the crucifix.

Closed my eyes again, wiped it all off, and just hid my face (kinda embarrassing I felt.) I never heard the man leave. After I was done with my prayer, I got up and walked out. That's when I remembered how loud steps on the wooden flooring are in that empty church. I never heard him walk in or leave. I have no idea what it was, but I just have this inexplicable feeling that God sent me a message that he was listening.
