Character: Commander Adam Malkovich

Reasoning: Adam Malkovich is a pivotal character in the Metroid series. From his introduction in Metroid: Fusion to his appearance in the renowned Metroid: Other M, Adam Malkovich has proven that he can stand together with icons such as Mega Man, Sonic, Mario, and every Metroid fan's favorite lady, Samus Aran.

To further sell this idea, I've devised a move set for Adam.

Standard Moves: If Snake can't make the roster, Snake's moveset from Brawl could very easily be rolled into this character with very minor modifications.

Neutral, Forward, Down, and Up B: Unauthorized - Adam pulls out out his communicator and says "You are not authorized to use that attack". Since Malkovich could deliver authorization orders from anywhere to anywhere in the Bottle Ship, it effects the whole stage. Characters hit by this attack will not be able use the corresponding Smash Attack until the next match, or until Adam authorizes it using one of his Taunts.

Up Taunt: Adam speaks into his communicator and says: "I'm authorizing the use of that attack." Authorizes any and all previously unauthorized attacks.

Forward Taunt:: "Any objections, Lady?" (Heavy emphasis on the "L" in "Lady".)

Down Taunt: Adam does what he's best known for in Other M, and just sits down and plays a DS for 30 minutes.

Final Smash: Sector Zero - Adam jettisons the ice-resistant Metroid research facility with him in it into that stage. Character's hit by this attack are instantly KOed, including Adam. When Adam is KOed from his Final Smash, he loses all of his stock. In a timed match with infinite stock, he loses 10 points. Adam is the first to be KOed from this attack.

I think these moves will not only make Adam a fun character to play as and against, but also perfectly encapsulate the things that make Adam Malkovich such a great character and why he's so fondly remembered by fans of the Metroid series.
