Social Media Startup -- I need a team

Hey rails!

Thanks for looking into this. I need someone with your expertise on board. Like the post explains, I'm getting my feet wet in the overall industry of business but I have some experience. I believe in my idea and I know it can compete with the best out there. I'm trying on all ends for this to be made into exactly what it is in my mind, essentially.

Starting out, between me and the front end designer, I'll also need a back end dev (potentially you) and an all out marketer before facing investors. Any evidence that makes them feel more comfortable that they'll receive their money back will make us more likely to get funding.

My job is to ensure the project is running smoothly, on time, and developed for our target market. I will make sure that we have funds to continue and back everything from testing, to launch, to advertising, and so forth. I have an exit strategy planned and as founders you will get equity stake on top of a disclosed salary.

I think I do things a little differently than most people. I want to make sure you guys are happy doing your work on the site but nothing extra. This would be a great experience for everyone and a lot of fun too. I'm against stressful environments. I'm a fair and productive person but I have a relaxed and calm nature. If we work together you can always approach me with anything at any time and I will consider my colleagues like family. There shouldn't be any secrets or information hidden from teammates working on the same project.

I hope you have a passion for changing how people socialize. And I have to ask you if you're ready for a commitment to move in and give this 100%. Testing is important and this is the only product that we can effectively test ourselves while creating. A new way for social interaction is the service provided. We aren't making bunny slippers.

On a variable product that takes months to create, collaborating as a team in close quarters is most effective. As I mentioned; facebook, twitter, amazon, pheed, google, and many others started off in a garage or small home. The common principle is that they were all working together under the same roof. You bet you'd want to work your tail off as a team to produce the best results when you're not in the comfort of your own home by yourself or with family.

I will see this through and I would be pleased if you would jump on board with me.

All my best, Michael
