You specifically mentioned your city, I responded to that point and I didn't see your edit. I'm not going to pretend that nobody dies, and 50 a day seems like a lot more than I thought it would be. But the original point was about gun owners being murderous nutjobs. It's a fact that poc in cities, especially in ones that redlined ( so most of them) are raised in abject poverty and in dangerous environments. Philly's gun violence is mostly attributed by this kind of violence, and I know Chicago is as well. These kinds of deaths are terrible, and more needs to be done to help these families escape these violent environments. But. An overwhelming majority, well over 95+% of gun owners are not insane people.
