I was thinking about this the other day. Having material to talk about is hard, especially for long amounts of time. Now they've been doing it together for like 6 or 7 years or whatever it is now and have told the vast majority of their stories both on the show and to each other. And now for an entire year, there's nothing to do. No new stories because there are zero new experiences happening. These people who bash on them for doing the same shit? Fuck you. If you've been actually locked down for a year, there's no way you have any new shit worth saying. Now clearly they've been going down since well before the pandemic, but people seem to be getting harder and harder on them. I haven't watched anything new the whole time because I know how bad it'll be, but it's leas their fault now than it was in 2019. They need to take a break or I remember someone suggested having some different people fill the roles for awhile. Anything, especially for a dude with some serious mental health issues already.
