When did this Subreddit become an Arin hate fanclub?

Usually when someone calls someone a sellout, they don't support the sellout but I am sorry for assuming (also this sentence sounds really sarcastic but it isn't). But I hope you can see that it had a basis. And you'll find that most people who perform are completely different off camera so I do not believe that is basis to say he's phoning it in. You are putting on a show so you do try your best to constantly entertain people. I guarantee you people who do podcasts have awkward pauses in conversations in day-to-day life but keep that out of their podcasts as best they can. I hope you can see my point.

On the topic of him seeming uninterested, I only see that sometimes. For the most part it seems like he really likes what he's doing, just look at the Bloodborne playthrough. And if Arin didn't believe in Game Grumps, he would not have started it with Jon 3 years ago.

To combat your point of "Arin says he doesn't like let's plays," he has said he doesn't like them because no one funny does them (back when he said this he was right, 99% of let's players were extremely dull) and you have to understand that people's opinions change. Stop holding him to things he said in the past like an obsessive girlfriend. He has also called himself a let's player in the opening of toon grumps and throughout toon grumps he refers to what he does as let's plays/

Regarding two petty things: I misused the phrase backhanded compliment but you got what I mean and I did say (for the record) "people like you..." in my previous comment.

Regardless, I still stand by my original point that you seem to hold some contempt to him because he makes money playing games. Games may have turned into a job for him but what's wrong with that? If he still puts out content that people (you included apparently) enjoy then why are you chastising him for doing it. I said it before, this is his way of supporting his other projects that he is more passionate about. What's the problem for doing it? I encourage you to watch Toon Grumps as his viewpoint on him making video game parodies is akin to his reasoning for continuing Game Grumps after what you seem to think is him losing his passion for it. I really want to hear your answer to my question: "Would you quit the one thing that provides for you and all of these people?"

Again I am sorry for condescending (at the time it felt wrong too but you came down on me hard so I had to fire back a little) you and assuming. With assuming, you have to understand I am writing this in a straight line, I am basically making shit up as I go with a pre-conceived notion on where I stand on the issue. I'm not really re-reading this because it is a comment on reddit so just ignore petty stuff like that in the future. When you point out someone's inconsistencies or grammar, you are no longer arguing their points, you're arguing them.

PS Don't just point out things like me assuming and condescending you in your follow up comment because it adds nothing to the discussion. You also just restated your points (I had to in this comment again as well because you did too). In your next comment (if you choose to make one), bring up new points and argue my points, not me.
