Not necessarily an expert, but I'm pretty decent at poker.

There was a guys' night poker game. I was there and was planning on just hanging out with the other wives, but I made a quip about how the guys were just too scared to play against us. It was meant as a light-hearted joke, but one of the dudes took it way to seriously and challenged me to play. He was one of the first ones out and bought his way back in. He and I ended up going head to head when he was all in the second time and I won.

He pitched an absolute tantrum about it. Saying how this is why wives shouldn't be invited. He made such a stink that the party came to a grinding pause after that. I stopped playing and just let the other players distribute my chips because I was hoping it would diffuse the situation. It mostly did. The dude in question ended up just drinking himself into a stupor in the corner and my husband took the pot in the end, so that was satisfying.
