It can be very scary leaving home. Is this the first time you'll be living on your own? That was the case for me when I moved away from home. Will you have any roommates? The distance I moved away is about the same and it was comforting to me knowing I had the option of going back for a weekend if I needed to. I never ended up feeling the need to do this but that safety net was nice.

While obviously scary, hopefully there is an element of excitement to it for you too. Change is necessary in life and it's generally unavoidable. It might be good to think of all of the new opportunity that could await you in this new town. A chance to do all sorts of new things and meet all sorts of new people.

Lastly, keep in mind that you will eventually grow accustomed to this new living arrangement and it will come to feel like home for you. When I went back home for summer it felt really weird because I had become so accustomed to living at school.
