I hated this movie. Toxic matriarch. Toxic family. Scape hosting excised because ~love~ No resolved issues.

If the village were good Catholics they would’ve burned the witch grandmother at the stake and saved a whole lot of drama. A bit extreme but i hated it that much I wanted it to just never had happened and songs were shit. An excuse for poor exposition. Show don’t tell!

Just a bunch of nosy people too in the younger generation. If the squib grand daughter had shut up and maybe discussed things rationally it wouldn’t have been so dramatic and really the hearing granddaughter couldn’t keep quiet either.

The village maybe shouldn’t put their existence or safety in a toxic family.

A loveless but strength tying marriage seems like a good idea stability wise. Love marriages are fairly new concepts. Isabel was good going through with that.
